network across Americas EMEA and Asia Pacific Position Business Analyst Role Summary In this role you will serve as a bridge between technology teams and the business and focus on analyzing documenting and validating business needs in relation to system functionality You will have a basic understanding of the financial industry the products the risks and how to comply with the corporate and regulatory agencies You will grow in understanding of one or more financial business areas You will understand your role in compliance with regulatory provisions Responsibilities include translating business needs into functional system requirements mapping existing system capabilities to business requirements understanding current and future state system functionality and how the business leverages technology and key data points to meet its needs and as needed supporting strategy definition defining goals and requirements for programs and projects and supporting continuous understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements perform less complex projects to assess business needs and recommend technical solutions provide technical guidance to colleagues work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors The Business Analyst will provide analysis of existing future business processes in support of change management initiatives and or infrastructure and process enhancements of Treasury and Market Risk systems or processes for regulatory mandates technology replacements upgrades or to meet business growth and consolidation objectives Responsibilities for This Role Gather and understand business requirements based on the requirement walk-through BRD and workshops Hands-on experience in requirements life cycle management in banking and financial domain Manage the requirements from inception to implementation Perform impact assessment on existing processes functions based on new requirements changes Ensure the business requirements and proposed solutions achieve the business goals Collaborating with technical SMEs come up with estimation for the new requirements Work with the technical teams for overall solution in line with group policies and procedures Work with the product owners to provide grooming sessions to development team Collaborate with entire team as part of the Agile Scrum team to deliver comprehensive changes to our internal external business Build strong relationship rapport with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders Ability to communicate complex technology concepts to a non-technology audience Be part of the by closely working with Scrum masters and squad members to deliver quality end-to-end solution including reviewing of other interface functional specifications and external parties specifications Every solution that is designed must be scalable and global in nature Maximize re-usability of solution provided for every requirement Review test scenarios to ensure there is comprehensive coverage by the testing team Perform random functional testing to ensure deliverables are in line with the requirements Work closely with business and country stakeholders for end-to-end system implementation and post-live support Basic SQL knowledge to query data base and familiarity with Oracle DB concepts End-to-end working knowledge in Transaction Banking Payments Channels areas Working knowledge around Payment schemes SWIFT MT ISO20022 Fedwire CHIPS Expertise in Payments processing Product - Fundtech Finastra Global Payplus GPP Fusion Role Qualifications Skills Previous Roles Experience 4 years to 9 years Hands on experience with GPP Classic and GPP SP Fusion product processor Knowledge of database structure of GPP Fusion SP Experience with SQL and other data profiling tools and techniques Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with Office 365 and collaboration tools Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task and be flexible Ability to work independently or within a team for problem resolution Detail-orientation Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization Ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms Essential Skills Mandatory and Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in GPP-SP GPP Fusion project as a Business Analyst Should have worked on ISO20022 MX related project for leading financial institutions
