Job Title Modular Product Development Engineer Location Coimbatore Tamil Nadu Company Fine Modular Systems LLP Job Type Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a Modular Product Development Engineer to join our team The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 2D production drawings and issuing them for manufacturing You will work on a variety of modular interior components including kitchens wardrobes TV units and other furniture components This role requires strong technical knowledge of modular furniture production proficiency in CAD software and the ability to ensure precision in design and manufacturing processes Key Responsibilities Develop accurate 2D production drawings for modular furniture components ensuring compliance with design specifications Issue final shop drawings and cutting lists for manufacturing and coordinate with the production team Work closely with the design production and installation teams to ensure seamless execution of projects Optimize designs for effective manufacturing minimizing material wastage and production time Maintain and update a library of modular product designs and specifications Conduct quality checks on drawings before issuing them for production Assist in developing new modular products and customization options based on market trends and client requirements Requirements Bachelor s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering Furniture Design Interior Design or a related field Proficiency in AutoCAD mandatory and experience with other design software like SketchUp or SolidWorks is a plus Strong understanding of modular furniture manufacturing processes and materials Knowledge of hardware joinery techniques and production methods for modular kitchens wardrobes and interior furniture Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and convert them into precise production details Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multiple departments Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay From 20 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Leave encashment Schedule Day shift Weekend availability Supplemental Pay Yearly bonus Ability to commute relocate Coimbatore Tamil Nadu Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Education Diploma Required Experience AutoCAD 1 year Required Production design 1 year Preferred Modular Furniture components 1 year Required Location Coimbatore Tamil Nadu Required Work Location In person Expected Start Date 01 08 2025
