DESIGNATION CNC VMC SETTER QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE DME ITI with 5 years expierience in Programming Setting of CNC VMC machines SKILLS REQUIRED NPD APQP PPAP CNC VMC PROGRAMMING TOOL SELECTION PROVING TOOL LIFE MONITORING DRAWING READING SMED JOB DESCRIPTION 1 Programming and setting up CNC VMC to complete current product different functions 2 Selection and Changing the tooling of the CNC VMC Machine 3 Observe machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining using precision measuring instruments such as micrometer and a dial caliper 4 Adjust machine control including part process 5 Verify first piece inspection using appropriate measuring instruments 6 Generally monitor the work being undertaken and completed testing and taking agreed critical measurements to identify problems and the need for adjustment etc and to immediately make any adjustments as necessary 7 Post edit CNC programme to fine tune process for optimum performance 8 Undertake agreed CNC inspection 9 Maintain accurate data records documentation associated with your work 10 Carry out planned tasks in accordance with contract requirements on services and associated systems 11 Carry out tasks within allotted time limits 12 Ensure compliance with quality standards policies and procedures codes and legislation including health and safety 13 Immediately report problems failures that may impact on the organisation and or its clients customers to the Line Manager 14 Contribute towards the smooth running of the team 15 Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet agreed budgetary controls 16 Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures 17 From time to time you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role 18 You are responsible for your allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager You must contribute towards the smooth running of the organisation generally 19 Knowledge of insert type of CNC VMC as applicable e g FANUC Controls 20 Requisite knowledge of the machinery tools equipment and materials common to the role Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Leave encashment Paid sick time Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Morning shift Night shift Rotational shift Supplemental Pay Overtime pay Performance bonus Yearly bonus Work Location In person
