Job Information Date Opened 01 07 2026Job Type Full timeWork Experience 5 yearsIndustry AerospaceCity HyderabadState Province TelanganaCountry IndiaZip Postal Code 500059 About Us Skyroot Aerospace is a National award-winning growth-stage start-up founded by former ISRO scientists Our mission is to open space for all by providing affordable reliable and responsive space launch solutions We are a close-knit team of Space professionals building leading space launch vehicles and solutions from India for the world About Skyroot Aerospace Skyroot Aerospace is a cutting-edge startup founded by former ISRO scientists dedicated to making space access more affordable and accessible We are pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology with a dynamic team that fosters creativity collaboration and a commitment to excellence Join us on a transformative journey to redefine the possibilities of space exploration Welcome to the forefront of space innovation with Skyroot Aerospace Purpose of the Role We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Senior Legal Counsel to join our growing team The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting reviewing and negotiating a variety of legal documents including customer and vendor agreements Knowledge of space law and statutory compliance is a strong advantage This role will also involve handling due diligence ensuring legal compliance and assisting with secretarial activities Responsibilities 1 Drafting and Vetting of Agreements Draft and review customer agreements experience in the space sector is highly advantageous Draft and vet vendor agreements including those related to procurement logistics and services 2 Non-Disclosure Agreements NDAs Draft review and negotiate NDAs with external stakeholders 3 Space Law Expertise Understand and interpret space laws working closely with space authorities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations 4 Statutory Compliance 1 Ensure compliance with various statutory requirements including but not limited to Factories Act Environmental Acts Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization PESO Labour Laws Information Technology Laws Data Protection Laws 2 Oversee timely filing of statutory returns 5 Due Diligence Conduct and manage legal due diligence for various business transactions Experience in handling Equity and Debt fund raising transactions Shareholder Agreements Share Subscription Agreements and Financing Agreements 6 Drive implementation of Compliance management tool for the Company 7 Interaction with Central and State Governments for policy driving and implementation in Space and other laws 8 Secretarial Support Assist with company secretarial duties and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements Qualifications 1 Education Bachelor s degree in Law LLB or equivalent A Master s degree in Law LLM would be an added advantage 2 Experience 8 years of experience in legal drafting and compliance Experience in the space sector is a plus Skills Strong understanding of contract law and statutory compliance Excellent drafting negotiation and communication skills Familiarity with space law environmental regulations and labour laws is desirable Ability to work independently as well as part of a team High attention to detail and robust organizational skills Perks Benefits We provide seamless transportation nourishing meals and elevated wellbeing - Because we believe everyone deserves a smooth ride to success
