Overview Jhpiego is a non-profit global health leader and Johns Hopkins University affiliate that saves lives improves health and transforms futures We partner with governments health experts and local communities to build the skills and systems that guarantee a healthier future for women and families Jhpiego translates the best science and practices into moments of care that can mean the difference between life and death for women and families Jhpiego s partnerships are revolutionizing health care for the world s most disadvantaged and vulnerable people In India Jhpiego works across various states in close collaboration with national and state governments providing technical assistance in the areas of family planning maternal and child health strengthening human resources for health and non-communicable diseases These programs are funded by Bill Melinda Gates Foundation RTSL David Lucile Packard Foundation Children s Investment Fund Foundation CIFF MSD for Mothers and others Jhpiego under the RISE Global Health Security GHS project is supporting the Government of India to strengthen outbreak preparedness and response capacities through a comprehensive digital learning and workforce development initiative Leveraging the Digital Implementation Unit DIU the project focuses on building scalable competency-based e-learning content that enhances frontline skills in One Health Infection Prevention Control IPC Laboratory strengthening and Zoonotic disease surveillance This effort aligns with national priorities for integrated multisectoral preparedness and contributes to a resilient health system capable of early detection rapid response and coordinated management of public health threats The DIU employs Jhpiego s ACES AI-generated Content with Expert Supervision approach to rapidly develop high-quality digital modules that blend scientific accuracy with contemporary instructional design This method accelerates production timelines while ensuring contextual relevance and technical rigor The resulting e-learning packages are designed for health workers across human animal and environmental health sectors supporting cross-sectoral collaboration at state district and facility levels Responsibilities E-Learning Development and Visual DesignTranslate technical clinical content into digital learning experiences Design visual elements for e-learning modules that enhance user engagement and information retention Integrate multimedia elements audio video animations in compliance with accessibility standards AI-Enabled Learning InnovationsApply Generative AI tools to enhance content creation learner engagement and personalization of learning journeys Quality Assurance and DeploymentPerform internal reviews to ensure functionality instructional integrity andplatform compatibility Conduct user testing and make iterative improvements based on feedback Work with the tech team for content hosting on LMS platforms e g Moodle Totara or mobile apps Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Educational Technology Graphic Design Public Health or related field 1 years of experience in e-learning design and development preferably in public health or healthcare education Working knowledge of Generative AI platforms e g ChatGPT Sora Veo and their application in education Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously Preferred Qualifications Desirable AttributesPrior experience in health or development sector-based e-learning Ability to handle regional languages and localization requirements Familiarity with agile or human-centered design methodologies A growth mindset and willingness to experiment with emerging learning technologies
