Driving ambulances for emergency or non-emergency situations or operating other vehicles to transport patients to and from the hospital Transporting staff supplies equipment or specimens between hospital facilities or to and from external locations Performing pre- and post-shift safety checks ensuring the vehicle is clean and properly stocked and reporting maintenance issues Maintaining accurate and complete logs of all transports mileage and supply usage Assisting paramedics with patient loading unloading providing basic first aid and ensuring the ambulance is equipped for emergencies Using GPS or maps to find efficient routes and communicating clearly with dispatchers medical staff and patients Key qualifications License and driving record A valid driver s license with a clean driving record is a must Education A high school diploma or equivalent is often required Skills Excellent driving skills ability to remain calm under pressure solid communication and good judgment are essential Certifications often preferred CPR and First Aid certification may be required especially for emergency roles Physical fitness The ability to perform the physical demands of the job such as lifting patients with assistance Experience Previous experience in emergency response or patient transport is often preferred Duty Timing 12 Hrs Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Work Location In person
