Job Profile TERI is seeking a qualified professional with expertise in the wind energy sector to contribute to its research policy and advisory work on renewable energy The selected candidate will support projects related to wind energy potential assessment techno-economic evaluation policy and regulatory analysis and stakeholder engagement while contributing to knowledge dissemination and capacity-building initiatives Experience 2 - 5 Years Qualification - Post-graduate degree in Power System Renewable Energy Mechanical Electrical Engineering- or related field 2-5 years of work experience in the wind energy sector Skills Key Responsibilities - Conduct research on wind energy potential assessment- including resource mapping- modeling- and energy yield estimation - Support techno-economic analysis of wind projects- including feasibility studies- cost-benefit assessment- and integration with broader renewable energy strategies - Assist in preparing tender documents and bid evaluation- feasibility and DPR preparation - Contribute to policy and regulatory research- including state and national-level frameworks- and enabling mechanisms for wind energy deployment - Prepare research reports- policy briefs- and knowledge products contribute to dissemination through workshops- seminars- and publications - Support capacity-building initiatives by designing and delivering training programs- toolkits- and best-practice guidelines Key Skills - Familiarity with India-s renewable energy policies- regulatory processes- and institutional frameworks - Solid understanding of wind resource assessment techniques and tools e g - WindPro- WASP- OpenWind and their application in research and policy contexts - Ability to integrate technical- policy- and economic dimensions of wind energy into actionable research outputs - Excellent skills in technical writing- report preparation- and presentation for diverse audiences Location Delhi Salary As per Industry standards Please apply latest by September 30 2025
