Position- Structural Engineer Steel Structure Experience- 10 yrs Qualification-Degree Qualified in Mechanical or Civil Engineering Postgraduate in Structural Engineering Location- Aundh Pune - Guide team of designers on detailing of steel beams columns and other structures Detail out various connections used for structural joints- Welded Bolted rivetted moment connection Shear connection Splice details etc Detailing of Bracing and trusses Decide and check the height of the column based on L r ratio Assess loading on primary member and transfer of load to secondary member and predict structure behaviour Provide loading information to Civil foundation generated from STAAD Review of drawings like frame pipe racks standalone pipe supports from structural stability and design point of view Participates in reviewing and checking designs drawings and data from suppliers Provides technical direction and assigns work to engineers designers and drafters who assist on specific assignments Resolve site Shop related issues arising from structural point of view Prepare complete documentation of the stress analysis and support design Review and interpret the results of structural analysis done by third parties and suggest changes if any Requirement- At least 8 years experience in the field of structure analysis using STAAD e g Pipe rack Skid Frames Support etc for water and or wastewater treatment plants Sound knowledge and experience of Structural analysis Previous experience working with 3D design software Familiar with various design codes used for structural design like IS AUS AISC etc Familiar with various steel sections and material properties Be well versed with Various software used for detailing steel structure e g Advance steel Tekla Be able to orient the column and beam with respect to loading so as to get maximum inertia Know how to use a combination of sections e g back-to-back channel Box section Pipe sections square tube etc Be familiar with calculation of Wind Seismic and snow loading as per various codes and standards and apply these loads in STAAD Experience in a design role closely supporting project delivery Experience working for an international organisation Experience working with raw water treatment demineralised water treatment reverse osmosis recycle reuse plants Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 1 800 000 00 - 2 000 000 00 per year Experience Structural Engineer 10 years Required Work Location In person
