Role Overview The Design Engineer MEP will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings BIM models and coordination layouts for Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing systems The role demands strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit along with a solid understanding of MEP design principles and construction workflows Key Responsibilities - Develop 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for MEP systems using AutoCAD and Revit - Prepare HVAC electrical plumbing and fire fighting layouts sections schematics and equipment details - Coordinate with architects structural teams and site engineers to ensure clash free and accurate MEP designs - Update drawings based on design revisions site conditions and client feedback - Perform MEP coordination within Revit including clash detection and model integration - Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards codes and project specifications - Assist in preparing BOQs material take offs and technical documentation - Maintain organized drawing records version control and BIM documentation - Support the engineering team in design calculations duct sizing cable sizing pipe sizing etc when required Required Skills Qualifications - Diploma Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Electrical or related engineering field - 2-15 years of experience in MEP design drafting - Strong command of - AutoCAD 2D 3D - Revit MEP - Good understanding of HVAC electrical plumbing and fire fighting systems - Ability to read and interpret architectural structural and MEP drawings - Familiarity with BIM workflows coordination processes and model management - Strong attention to detail accuracy and time management Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Navisworks BIM 360 or similar coordination tools - Knowledge of ASHRAE NBC IS codes or relevant international standards - Experience working on commercial residential or industrial MEP projects - Solid communication and teamwork skills kk Why Join Us - Opportunity to work on high impact MEP projects - Collaborative environment with exposure to advanced BIM technologies - Growth opportunities in design coordination and BIM leadership roles Second Position Job Type Full-time Pay 592 927 19 - 1 975 767 54 per year Benefits Health insurance Paid sick time Work Location In person
