Job Summary The Draftsman Purchase Associate is responsible for managing procurement activities vendor relations and preparing technical electrical drawings for automation systems This dual-role position ensures detailed electrical schematics and layouts for projects cost-effective purchasing while maintaining accurate Key Responsibilities A Drafting Technical Responsibilities Automation Electrical Drawings Electrical Drafting Design Prepare detailed electrical schematics panel layouts and wiring diagrams for automation systems Draft drawings for control panels PLC systems and instrumentation as per project requirements Ensure compliance with industry standards IEC NEC etc and client specifications File Conversion Documentation Convert hand sketches PDFs or other formats into CAD drawings AutoCAD EPLAN etc Maintain an organized database of drawings and revisions Technical Support Assist engineers in design modifications and prototyping Provide drafting support for tender drawings TVM - Technical Vendor Management Testing Troubleshooting Conduct device testing and assist in troubleshooting electrical automation systems Support in DEMO presentations for clients during urgent requirements Training Maintenance Conduct training sessions for third-party products when required Coordinate servicing and maintenance of office machines and testing equipment B Procurement Vendor Management Sourcing Purchasing Procure materials components and services at competitive prices while ensuring quality and timely delivery Identify and onboard new vendors negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing trends and alternative suppliers Quotation Costing Provide pricing details to the sales engineering team for quotation preparation Compare supplier quotes and recommend cost-effective options Purchase Inventory Management Maintain and update purchase records in Excel local and transportation logs Track orders ensure timely deliveries and resolve procurement discrepancies Handle petty cash expenses and maintain proper documentation Vendor Coordination Payments Follow up with vendors for payments delivery schedules and documentation Coordinate with accounts for payment processing and resolve invoice discrepancies Logistics Transportation Arrange porter services and local transportation for material movement Monitor logistics to ensure smooth supply chain operations Job Types Full-time Fresher Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Qualification Diploma in Electrical Engineering B Tech AutoCAD EPLAN Electric P8 SolidWorks Electrical Revit MEP Experience Purchasing 1 year Preferred Candidates with Technical Background preferred Job Types Full time Fresher Work Location In person Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Work Location In person
