Leadership Lead the development team providing mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level developers Architecture and Design Oversee the design and architecture of the system ensuring best practices in scalability security and performance Migration Management Lead the migration from Node js Express to Fastify v2 ensuring minimal disruption and improved performance Front-End Development Guide the development of our React front end using TypeScript ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience Database Management Oversee the database operations on MySQL RDS ensuring efficient and secure data management API Integration Lead the integration and management of third-party APIs including MailerSend HubSpot and Workable ensuring seamless communication and data flow between systems DevOps Responsibilities Manage CI CD pipelines automate deployments and handle AWS infrastructure ensuring smooth and efficient operations without a dedicated DevOps team Code Quality Ensure high standards of code quality through code reviews testing and continuous integration practices Project Management Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements timelines and deliverables Team Collaboration Foster a collaborative environment encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing within the team Maintenance and Support Ensure the existing web application remains stable and functional during the migration addressing any bug fixes performance issues or other critical problems as they arise Requirements 5 years of experience in software development with at least 2 years in a lead role Backend Expertise in Node js Express and experience with Fastify or similar frameworks Frontend Strong experience with React and TypeScript Database Proficiency in MySQL and experience with AWS RDS API Integration Experience integrating third-party APIs such as MailerSend HubSpot and Workable DevOps DevOps skills including experience with CI CD pipelines automated deployments and AWS infrastructure management Architecture Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns Leadership Proven ability to lead and mentor a development team Problem-Solving Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality maintainable solutions Communication Strong communication skills able to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud architecture particularly AWS Familiarity with Docker Knowledge of modern front-end build tools and
