Job Title Purchase Executive - Electrical Civil Project Materials Location Serampore Hooghly Job Type Full time Experience Required 2-5 Years Freshers with strong technical knowledge can also apply Industry Construction Infrastructure MEP EPC We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of Electrical and Civil materials for our ongoing infrastructure and project works The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing negotiating and purchasing materials essential to the timely and cost-effective completion of construction and engineering projects Key Responsibilities Procure materials related to Electrical cables panels switches lighting etc and Civil cement steel aggregates tiles etc works as per project requirements Identify and evaluate reliable vendors and suppliers build and maintain strong supplier relationships Request quotations analyze price comparisons and negotiate for best pricing quality and delivery terms Prepare and issue Purchase Orders PO and follow up for timely delivery to project sites Coordinate with project managers site engineers and storekeepers to assess material requirements and ensure availability Track inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstocking Inspect or ensure the quality of materials received at sites in collaboration with site teams Maintain proper documentation including POs delivery challans GRNs and invoices Monitor vendor performance and assist in supplier evaluations Work closely with Accounts Finance for invoice processing and payments Requirements Diploma Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Civil Engineering or related field 2 years of experience in material procurement for construction or MEP projects Knowledge of construction materials standards and specifications Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems SAP Tally etc Strong negotiation communication and organizational skills Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines Preferred Skills Knowledge of local markets and suppliers Basic understanding of contracts and purchase terms Site coordination and logistics management Attention to detail and cost consciousness Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 13 000 00 - 18 000 00 per month Work Location In person
