Job Title Assistant Professor - BCA Department Computer Applications BCA Reports To Head of Department Principal Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic dedicated and highly motivated Assistant Professor in Computer Applications to join our BCA department The candidate should have a strong academic background proven teaching ability and expertise in computer science programming and emerging technologies The role involves teaching undergraduate students guiding academic projects engaging in research and publications and contributing to curriculum development while fostering a student-centric learning environment Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality lectures tutorials and practical sessions in core BCA subjects such as Programming Languages C C Java Python etc Data Structures Algorithms Database Management Systems DBMS Operating Systems Web Technologies Computer Networks Cybersecurity Software Engineering and Emerging Technologies AI ML Cloud IoT etc Develop innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning and outcomes Prepare academic lesson plans teaching materials and conduct assessments examinations Mentor and guide students in academic projects internships and career development Engage in departmental activities curriculum design and syllabus revision as per university AICTE UGC norms Conduct and participate in research publications seminars FDPs and workshops Maintain academic discipline student engagement and foster a positive learning environment Contribute to accreditation quality initiatives and continuous improvement of academic standards Participate in administrative duties such as examination work student counseling and event coordination Qualifications Requirements Educational Qualification Master s degree MCA M Sc Computer Science IT with a minimum of 55 marks or equivalent from a recognized university NET SET Ph D preferred as per UGC norms Experience Prior teaching or industry experience is desirable Freshers with excellent academic credentials may also apply Skills Strong command over programming computing fundamentals and emerging IT fields Excellent communication presentation and mentoring skills Ability to integrate technology and up-to-date pedagogy in teaching Research aptitude and commitment to continuous learning Personal Attributes Passionate about teaching and mentoring Professional disciplined and student-focused Collaborative attitude with a spirit of teamwork Adaptability to institutional policies and academic culture Career Growth Opportunities Opportunities for research funded projects and publications Professional development through workshops FDPs and conferences Scope to contribute to curriculum innovation and academic leadership roles Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Work Location In person
