Remote Dispatcher position in the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation NEMT industry in the USA Job Title Remote Dispatcher - Non-Emergency Medical Transportation NEMT Location Work From Home Remote Employment Type Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and self-driven Remote Dispatcher to manage and coordinate trips for a fleet of 10-15 vans in the NEMT industry This role involves real-time scheduling dispatching drivers managing trip logistics handling incoming client calls and providing support to drivers while they are en route Key Responsibilities Manage daily trip schedules and dispatch 10-15 drivers efficiently based on trip assignments Monitor routes and respond promptly to any issues or delays to ensure on-time performance Communicate with drivers regularly to provide instructions updates and resolve concerns while on the road Handle high volume of incoming calls from clients and transportation providers with professionalism Update trip statuses in dispatching software in real time Maintain accurate records of completed cancelled and rescheduled trips Ensure compliance with NEMT transportation guidelines and safety protocols Work independently and take ownership of dispatching operations during assigned shifts Qualifications Previous experience as a dispatcher preferably in the NEMT or logistics transportation industry Strong knowledge of US geography and routing principles Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a fast-paced workplace Familiarity with dispatching software e g Mediroutes or similar Proficient with basic computer tools and communication apps email phone GPS tracking spreadsheets High-speed internet and a quiet home office setup Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a fully remote dispatcher role Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Knowledge of medical transportation billing and compliance is a bonus Work Schedule Night shift and weekend shifts may be required depending on operational needs Flexible availability is a plus Job Type Full-time Pay 30 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Schedule Monday to Friday Night shift Weekend availability Experience Dispatcher 2 years Required Language English Required Work Location Remote Expected Start Date 11 08 2025
