Overview It s an exciting time to work at Tricon - come discover why we ve been certified as a Great Place to Work Our business has been built on a foundation of perseverance teamwork and some of the industry s top talent Tricon s company philosophy is rooted in a culture of independence and accountability and we re looking for innovative employees that are ready to help us grow in fast-paced dynamic markets About Us Tricon is an industry leader in the global commodity trade and distribution market In our 29 years in business we have grown to become one of the largest privately held companies in Houston TX and recognized as the world s second largest chemical distributor by ICIS Our diverse team across 25 offices worldwide add value to our customers and partners by providing logistic risk management financing and market intelligence services We strive to enhance international commerce through the physical movement and marketing of industrial petrochemicals polymers raw materials and sustainable products By providing our suppliers and customers with streamlined services they are able to focus on their core business Position Summary Tricon is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join one of our largest offices in Mumbai India This role will have a dual reporting to the Treasurer based in Houston TX and Tricon India s Country Manager based in Mumbai The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with a schedule from 5 30pm to 2 30am IST in order to closely match the Houston daytime hours The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal and English skills background in treasury accounting operations and cash management with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced trading environment Responsibilities The primary responsibility is to handle all the KYC request from banks and other third parties This entails coordination with internal areas such as Compliance and Legal and direct contact with the banks Will require speed organization attention to detail and strong communications skills A second part of the role is to assist in Tricon s global program for accounts receivables discounting with various banks Tasks will include to periodically run lists to find discounting opportunities monitor discounted funds contact the Credit team on potential payment delays etc Update cash flow forecasts Assist in account openings worldwide and management of certain accounts Manage coordinate margin call requirements Handle ad hoc requests from banks or internal teams Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed Experience and Qualifications Bachelor s degree in relevant field i e finance accounting etc required Big Four LDP Program 3 years relevant experience required Relevant work experience with accounting firm or in an accounting finance department is preferred Experience in trading or banking environments Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication interpersonal and presentation skills Experience with an ERP is an advantage Oracle JD Edwards Strong Excel skills Background in SQL or any other advanced computer skills is also preferred English advanced Spoken and Written Robust attention to detail Team player - Encourages collaboration and works cohesively with others
