Designation Physiotherapist Experience 0 to 1 Year Qualification MPT in Sport Location Andheri JOB PURPOSE To perform the Physiotherapy procedures as per the Rehabilitation Plan prepared as per the departmental protocols and to ensure comprehensive patient care KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Act independently to asses analyze and provide a clinical diagnosis for individual patients to determine their need for physiotherapy intervention within specialist areas Act independently to plan implement evaluate treat and progress patient care to maximize rehabilitation potential within specialist area Manage caseload of patients effectively and efficiently undertaking predominantly complex cases Maintain patient documentation records and accurate statistical information to reflect care provided and meet professional standards Communicate and make recommendations to all relevant disciplines of staff to maximize patient care and promote multidisciplinary working Develop implement and maintain appropriate clinical guidelines ensuring clinical effectiveness to optimize patient care Work independently to provide physiotherapy on-call care to support delivery of the 24-hour service to acutely ill patients Support the HOD to develop a specialist physiotherapy service to maximize patient care and use of resources Undertake clinical audit to support the physiotherapy service and clinical governance strategy Use a range of techniques to strengthen and stretch muscles and joints to improve patient mobility such as massage hydrotherapy breathing and relaxation technique Performing spinal and peripheral joint mobilization and manipulation Uses equipment such as heat packs exercise equipment ice packs ultrasound and electrotherapy to ease pain reduce swelling and improve range movement Retrain patients to walk or to use device such as walking frames splints crutches and wheelchairs Educates patients their families and the community to prevent injury and disability and to lead healthy lifestyles Helps implement community fitness programs Maintaining all patient records Adheres to departmental policies protocols and procedures along with maintain the objectives quality assurance programs safety environmental and infection control standards Consults with physician on patients progress maintains appropriate records Participates in educational programs and get involved in Clinical research to evaluate outcome and present or publish in national international meetings or journals Laise with Sports Scientist Sports Biomechanist Sports Nutritionist To be part of the Quality Improvement Initiative and protocols of the organization Job Types Full time Permanent Fresher Pay 165 299 82 - 360 000 00 per year Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Provident Fund Education Master s Required Work Location In person
