Role Admissions Manager Timing 10 AM - 6 PM Monday to Friday half Saturdays Salary 13 000 to 15 000 per month Location The Neev Saltlake Kolkata Reporting to Founder Director School Coordinator Role Overview This person becomes the heartbeat of the admissions journey the first voice parents hear the steady hand that supports them through decisions and the organiser who keeps the whole process running seamlessly Alongside admissions they will also support small but important marketing tasks to keep the school visible warm and connected to the parent community Key Responsibilities1 Lead Handling Parent Communication Respond to all incoming calls messages and enquiries across platforms Maintain daily logs of leads follow-ups and conversions Nurture relationships with prospective parents with warmth and clarity Coordinate call-backs and follow-up schedules to keep communication timely 2 School Walkthroughs Parent Orientation Schedule and organise school tours with efficiency and attention to detail Ensure the environment is prepared before every walkthrough Conduct pre-orientation calls and share necessary documents with parents Provide on-ground support during orientation days 3 Admissions Coordination Maintain enquiry-to-admission funnel and prepare weekly progress reports Ensure smooth onboarding once a child is admitted Coordinate paperwork fee details and document collection Liaise between parents and the Founder Director for any special queries 4 Marketing Support Work with you Founder to coordinate Instagram updates reels testimonials Manage simple outreach databases events open houses community engagement Support with basic Canva designs training can be provided 5 Operational Team Support Maintain admissions-related files physical digital Coordinate with the finance admin person for fee-related queries Help with data entry phone coordination and event-based admin tasks Share insights from parent conversations to support strategic decisions Ideal Qualities Warm patient and polite communicator who enjoys interacting with parents Organised dependable and detail-oriented Comfortable managing calls and documentation Good spoken English Bengali Hindi basic Familiarity with Canva Google Sheets or willingness to learn Someone who can represent The Neev with confidence and grace Education Minimum Bachelor s degree in any field Preferred fields Education Psychology Business Administration Communications Social Work This ensures they have the maturity and basic professionalism the role needs without narrowing your pool too much Experience Choose any one of the following so you don t limit the talent pool 1-2 years of experience in customer service admissions counselling sales front-desk or parent communication OR Fresh graduates who are confident warm communicators and eager to learn This gives you flexibility Sometimes the right personality is more valuable than years of experience Skills Strong verbal communication Comfortable explaining programs fee structures and philosophy Basic proficiency in Google Sheets Google Drive and WhatsApp communication Willingness to learn straightforward Canva designs or social media coordination Ability to stay organised and follow systems consistently Personal Qualities Warm child-friendly presence Patience and the ability to handle sensitive parent conversations Professionalism punctuality and a sense of responsibility Genuine respect for early childhood education A people-first mindset someone who can make parents feel held Comfort with long-term relationship building Language Requirements Good spoken English Comfortable in Hindi or Bengali for local parent communication Additional Not mandatory but great to have Experience in preschools or early learning spaces Social media content coordination Basic understanding of marketing or communication principles Job Type Full-time Pay 13 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Work Location In person
