Requisition Number 41384 Job Location Mumbai IND Work Type Office Working Employment Type Permanent Posting Start Date 26 11 2025 Posting End Date 04 12 2025 Job Summary To ensure optimum efficiency from the Section whilst maintaining all required controls and procedures To maintain working relationship with the officials of the various market intermediaries Stock Exchanges Registrars Issuers Companies Depositories Other Custodians To supervise and manage the Corporate Action Sub-Sections by ensuring that all operations are working in line with laid down controls procedures and all regulatory requirements and achieve established targeted standards of productivity and client services To maintain a positive working with personnel of the other Sections Divisions of the Bank Key Responsibilities To supervise and manage timely and accurate processing and reporting related to of following transactions activities Monitoring Recording and reporting of corporate action announcements on equity and Debt securities for domestic and regional custody clients Reconciliation of client eligibility for corporate action events on key dates and reporting of securities and cash entitlements to clients Tracking and processing of circulars notices issued by exchanges depositories impacting securities held by clients Follow-ups collection and processing of Corporate Actions Benefits Cash and Securities on Equity and Debt Securities held by clients Handling client responses execution of Voluntary Corporate Actions including PUT CALL options Clients subscription through Primary Market transactions in Equity Debt IPOs and QIPs Proxy services offered to clients including follow-up for agendas annual reports dispatch of the same to clients execution of proxy instructions procurement and dispatch of meeting updates Investments made by FDI FVCl FPI clients through Private Placements and security for the same is received on a timely basis Processing of Demat Remat Repurchase instructions of clients Inwarding of Demat Physical securities Follow up Debt IPO allotments and ensure timely credit to clients Activities related to Transfer processing for securities held in physical certificates Assist Team Leader Section Head in any adhoc assignments Strategy To build a well-defined and robust processes with good controls To cross train the people in the corporate actions so that in any kind of disaster we can deliver our services To participate in the bank s initiative and deliver implement the same Business Corporate Action business is to action on any event initiated by a listed unlisted company that affects its stakeholders such as shareholders Processes Responsible for accurate execution of day-to-day BAU operations of corporate action processing timely reporting to clients and internal stakeholders Must ensure all the laid down controls procedures and regulatory requirements are followed and achieve established targeted standards of productivity Strive to provide a high level of quality service to all clients and stakeholders and to ensure that all processes are handled in a compliant and efficient manner Lastly dedicated to maintaining and improving BAU operations to ensure the highest level People Talent To help build a good work life balance for self and team To constantly motivate team towards better performance To encourage and foster a cooperative and supportive working environment To determine training needs of team members and regularly initiate internal training sessions to meet these requirements To give regular feedback to team members To develop a career road map for staff to keep engagement levels high To support Head Securities Services in planning and controlling staffing and training needs Risk Management Responsible for timely highlighting escalating issues reporting of exceptions and operational challenges high volumes in assigned BAU operations to Team Leader Line Manager Governance Ensure that all procedures laid down in the Departmental Operating Instructions and the Key Control Standards are adequately followed Regulatory Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics including regulatory and business conduct across Standard Chartered Bank This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with in letter and spirit all applicable laws regulations guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct Effectively and collaboratively identify escalate mitigate and resolve risk conduct and compliance matters Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles Fair Outcomes for Clients Effective Financial Markets Financial Crime Compliance The Right Environment Serve as a Director of the Board Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association or equivalent Key stakeholders Functional Officers Managers -
