Job Purpose The Design Engineer is responsible for developing modifying and improving products components and systems based on technical requirements This role involves concept development 3D modeling prototyping testing and ensuring product designs meet quality cost and performance standards Key Responsibilities Develop 3D models assemblies and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks software Conduct design calculations material selection and engineering analysis for product performance Generate innovative concepts and convert them into manufacturable designs Work with cross-functional teams such as Production Quality Purchase and Maintenance to finalize product feasibility Review modify and improve existing designs for better efficiency durability or cost reduction Prepare BOM Bill of Materials technical documentation and engineering reports Coordinate prototype development testing and validation Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely sourcing of materials and components Support troubleshooting during production installation and after-sales phases Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into iterative improvements Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s Degree Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field 5-7 years of experience in product design or mechanical design Plastic industry preferred Strong proficiency in CAD tools SolidWorks Knowledge of GD T tolerance stack-up and engineering standards Understanding of manufacturing processes Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities Valuable communication and documentation skills Preferred Qua Job Type Full-time Pay 40 000 00 - 60 000 00 per month Experience Product Design 5 years Required Solidworks 5 years Required Plastics blow injection molding 5 years Required Work Location In person
