tools infrastructure and automations to drive innovation and efficiency Role Overview We are looking for a motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team In this role you will be part of a global group responsible for handling on-prem and cloud initiatives planning executing and reporting on various infrastructure and code projects You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our DevOps processes and systems Roles and Responsibility Develop and maintain the next generation DevOps infrastructure Ensure the reliability SRE and high availability of the operational environment Enable the Research Development group to use CI CD tools infrastructure and automations Handle on-prem and cloud initiatives including SRE planning execution and reporting Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DevOps processes and systems Implement best practices for DevOps and infrastructure management Our Ideal Candidate Hands-on experience with CI CD systems e g Azure DevOps Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions Familiarity with Networking Linux Administrator and Windows Proven scripting skills in Bash and Python Groovy Proficiency with virtualized and containerized environments Kubernetes Helm and Docker Exposure to Agile methodologies and respective tool chain Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Qualifications 8-12 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer as DevOps solutions Developer Bachelors Masters-Degree of Engineering in CS or IT or equivalent At least 6 years experience in Building and managing production critical CI CD systems pipelines and solutions Proven experience in DevOps with a focus on CICD monitoring branching release process and environment management Solid knowledge of CI CD tools infrastructure and automation Experience with on-prem and cloud environments Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Self-motivated adaptable and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Additional Qualifications Familiarity with configuration management tools e g Ansible Familiarity with system
