Job Title HVAC Supervisor Mechanical Supervisor Division Mechanical Reports to Head of Mechanical Division Senior Mechanical Project Manager Position Type Full-Time Supervisory Position Summary The HVAC Supervisor leads a team of mechanical engineers and designers focused on heating ventilation and air conditioning HVAC systems design This role is critical for ensuring designs meet client requirements for comfort efficiency and sustainability The supervisor is the technical authority for HVAC systems within their team Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of mechanical HVAC engineers and designers Oversee the production of HVAC design documents ductwork and piping layouts equipment schedules and specifications Review and approve HVAC load calculations using software like HAP or Trace energy models and system selections Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE standards International Mechanical Codes IMC and energy codes IECC Coordinate HVAC system requirements with electrical plumbing fire protection and architectural teams Lead the integration of sustainable design principles e g LEED into projects Review and respond to RFIs and submittals during the construction phase Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Professional Engineer PE license strongly preferred 8 years of experience in HVAC system design for buildings Proven leadership or supervisory experience Expertise in HVAC design software e g Carrier HAP Trane Trace Revit MEP Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards and building codes Job Type Full-time Perks Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
