Job Overview We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team within the plastic injection molding industry The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the setup operation and maintenance of CNC machines used in mold making tool fabrication and component machining The CNC Operator will play a critical role in maintaining production efficiency meeting quality standards and supporting continuous improvement Key Responsibilities 1 Shift Workflow Management Develop and follow shift schedules to ensure full CNC machine coverage Plan and prioritize daily machining activities based on job urgency and production deadlines 2 On-Floor Leadership Training Guide and brief CNC operators on job specifics and requirements Provide hands-on training and demonstrations for proper machine handling and safety practices Mentor junior operators to ensure process consistency and adherence to quality standards 3 Machine Tool Setup Perform accurate machine setup including tool selection fixture placement offset settings and program loading Ensure proper alignment clamping and calibration of machines before production begins 4 CNC Operation Monitoring Operate CNC milling and turning centers following engineering drawings and pre-programmed instructions Monitor machine behavior during production and make real-time edits or adjustments to optimize output Debug programs and troubleshoot basic machine or process issues as they arise 5 Quality Assurance Inspect machined parts using precision tools such as Vernier calipers micrometers and gauges Ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances and customer specifications Adjust machine parameters or offsets based on inspection feedback 6 Maintenance Continuous Improvement Perform routine preventive maintenance and ensure machines remain clean and operational Adhere to 5S housekeeping standards to promote safety and efficiency Participate in lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives to minimize waste and downtime Qualifications Minimum educational qualification ITI in Mechanical or relevant trade Minimum 1 year of relevant CNC operating experience preferred in plastic molding toolroom settings Benefits Competitive salary 25 000 - 30 000 per month Yearly bonus based on performance 15 paid leaves per year Health insurance and provident fund PF Subsidized food provided at the facility Day morning or night shifts available About Protekz Protekz is a reputed manufacturer of Plastic Injection Moulds and Moulded Components established in 1987 We specialize in complete product lifecycle management from design and mold development to final component manufacturing Our manufacturing facility is equipped with a wide range of advanced machinery including CNC milling EDM and injection molding machines We adhere to strict ISO 9001 2015 quality standards and are committed to continuous innovation and customer satisfaction Job Details Job Type Full time Permanent Work Location On-site In person Schedule Day shift Morning shift Night shift Supplemental Pay Yearly bonus Performance-based incentives Job Type Full-time Pay 23 30 - 28 05 per hour Benefits Health insurance Schedule Day shift Morning shift Night shift Shift availability Day Shift Preferred Night Shift Preferred Work Location In person
