About Infilect Infilect is founded by two PhDs and ex-IBM-Research-Scientists to build scalable visual-AI systems to make the world a better place Infilect https infilect com builds state-of-the-art cloud and AI applications for the worldwide retail industry We process images and videos at scale and in real-time to solve retail supply-chain problems and make an environmentally sustainable net-positive impact on the world We are driven by the promise of AI and software technology to save time save cost save energy and improve user experience for businesses and consumers all over the world Overview We are looking for an SDE to join our growing AI team and build out the next generation of our platform The ideal candidate is a hands-on backend application builder with significant experience in developing and deploying scalable systems We re looking for someone with experience in Python Django application engineering and system design knowledge with fast implementation skills They must have strong firsthand technical expertise in configuration management and the proven ability to implement robust scalable solutions to manage large-scale AI model deployments and AI pipelines They must be at ease working in an agile environment with little supervision This person should embody a passion for continuous improvement and test-driven development deployment Responsibilities Design and develop a scalable AI pipeline processing platform using various configuration management technologies Test software development methodology in an agile setting Provide ongoing maintenance support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms Collaborate cross-functionally with AI engineers backend engineering Product Project managers etc to achieve elegant solutions Analyze design and develop test cases and test automation suites for AI pipelines Provide recommendations for continuous improvement Work alongside other engineers in the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices Things that will be exciting for you at work Deep learning and Computer vision based engineering automation platform Configuration-based AI model pipelines deployment services with scalable systems Full stack engineering to develop automation tools What you will not work on B2C web-based backend applications Research and development of AI ML models or algorithms Qualifications Hands-on experience working with technologies like Django Kafka RabbitMQ Redis etc Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelor s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience We re looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience in B2B has a BS degree in computer science or similar and is familiar with the following software tools Knowledge of basic frontend development is desirable Experience with modern programming languages like Python preferred Java etc Experience with building APIs and services using REST SOAP etc Experience with scripting languages like Shell Bash etc Understanding agile development CI CD sprints code reviews Experience working with GenAI tools for Frontend development Coding reviewing documentation etc Experience with monitoring technologies like ELK Graphana etc Experience with deployment automation technologies like Docker kubernetes etc will be a big plus
