Team will play a crucial role in enabling the ongoing transformation of our agencies and functions What you ll be doing Test legacy and new test cases with the use of formal test cases or scripts Execute smoke regression and functional tests Interpret test cases and compare them to established specifications Be able to go beyond the specification and anticipate problem areas in the product design and document test cases results and compare to expected results Analyzing Business Requirements assessing the quality of these to ensure they are Cohesive Comprehensive Concise Clear and Correct and assures the work of others to ensure conformance to standards Work closely with team members on requirement analysis and reviews to ensure 100 test coverage Participate in various scrum meetings to provide input on functional requirements product designs schedules estimates or potential problems Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy compliance or completeness or to mitigate risks Defect and issue identification logging tracking reporting and timely verification of resolved items Collaborate with a cross-functional team including Development QA Implementation Documentation Support and Sales Support the product through its full life cycle of design code test and maintenance Assist in assessing product quality and release readiness What you ll need Education completed university studies in Computer Science Information Technology or comparable Personality and Working Practice team player good communication skills analytical thinking and structured keen eye on detail Experience and Knowledge 3 to 5 years experience in software testing a clear interest in developing skills within the QA field including experience in the Agile Scrum development lifecycle Experience in writing testing and executing SQL queries Experience in comprehensive testing on data solutions and bespoke applications Strong understanding of acceptance testing test case development execution of test procedures Experience executing test cases scripts plans and procedures to support various development methodologies including waterfall and agile Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to work with technical and non-technical staff Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a curious mind for investigating and breaking software Detail-orientation with the ability to understand how each aspect interacts with the big picture A solid understanding of software development life cycle SDLC and programming fundamentals You do not need to be able to program our systems but a working knowledge will help you excel in this role Proven perseverance to carry a set of software deliverables from requirements to testing completion Ability to write clear concise unambiguous and accurate requirements Experience executing test cases scripts plans and procedures to support various development methodologies including waterfall and agile Ability to write clear concise unambiguous and accurate requirements Experience in logging bugs in Azure DevOps or any other tools as hands-on Experience on different types of testing that includes Black Box testing Smoke testing Functional testing System Integration testing End-to-End Testing Regression testing User Acceptance testing UAT Involved in
