The Digital Validation

Team ensures the functionality and performance of these devices both pre- and post-silicon. To increase coverage and efficiency, we continuously automate testing and data analysis processes. In this area of device automation and data analysis, we are looking for a student who is passionate about automation, data analytics, machine learning, AI, scripting, object-oriented software development, web applications, and communication protocols—all in the context of cutting-edge semiconductor development.

Position Overview

As a Working Student (f/m/d), you will support a team of experienced engineers in developing tools and applications that contribute to the silicon validation process.

You will have the opportunity to:

- Support the development and maintenance of automation solutions for validation activities
- Contribute to software tools for data collection, processing, and analysis




- Work on robotics and image-processing solutions for automated chip handling
- Assist in programming, testing, and optimizing robotic systems and workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and gain hands-on experience in semiconductor development

Your Profile

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field

Interest in robotics, automation, and image processing

Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, C++, C#, ...)

Experience with at least one modern scripting language (Python, Groovy, ...)

Basic knowledge of web and database technologies and protocols

Experience with robotics frameworks, computer vision, or machine learning is a plus

Basic understanding of SoC (System-on-Chip) architectures is advantageous
