- Participate actively as a Reporting consultant on one or more project teams
- Translate legacy customer reporting requirements into Workday reporting tools.
- Understand and communicate touch points with the different Workday modules like HCM, Academics, Payroll, Benefits, Financials, Supply Chain, and Student.
- Build custom reports, dashboards, discovery boards, and embedded analytics using Workdays reporting toolset
- Support key communication to project and client leadership
- Closely follow the strategic direction set by leadership when establishing Workday project goals
- Support the identification of process improvements and changes to our methodology based on project experience
- Substantial and measurable delivery within the reporting workstreams of 1 or more HCM, Financials, or Student implementations for at least two phases
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration
Preferences
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Math, Engineering,
Computer Science, or relevant field of study
- Current Workday certification
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a Workday reporting role using the various different tools from simple to complex reports.
- Robust knowledge and experience with the Workday security model.
- 5+ years of experience with report writing experience with enterprise reporting tools.
- Experience with reporting tools like Prism, BIRT, dashboards, discovery boards, embedded analytics, and future report specific functionality.
- Ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project-management and technical dimensions
- Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with tools such as Excel and Access used to translate information and requirements into documentation and solution design
