Role Overview:

As a Workday HCM Consultant specializing in Time Tracking and Absence, you will serve as a functional bridge between complex business requirements and technical system configurations. You will collaborate closely with global stakeholders to design, test, and deploy robust time and leave management solutions that ensure compliance and operational efficiency. Your work directly impacts how thousands of employees interact with their core HR systems, ensuring seamless payroll integration and accurate workforce reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure and maintain Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules to meet specific organizational policies and regional labor regulations.
- Lead requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders to translate complex HR processes into scalable system designs.
- Execute end-to-end testing cycles, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure system stability before go-live.




- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues within the Workday ecosystem to minimize downtime and maintain high levels of user satisfaction.
- Partner with payroll and perks teams to ensure accurate data flow and seamless integration between time-tracking inputs and downstream financial systems.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional design specifications and user training materials, to support long-term system adoption.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in configuring Workday Time Tracking and Absence plans, including complex accrual rules, eligibility criteria, and time entry templates.
- Proven ability to manage full-cycle Workday implementations or major optimization projects within a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret business requirements and architect solutions that align with global HR best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate cross-functional collaboration across remote teams.
- Ability to work independently in a distributed, remote-first environment while maintaining high standards of project delivery and documentation.
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field, supported by 2 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in Workday HCM consulting.
