Role Overview
We are seeking a digitally tech-savvy, legally registered Ayurvedic Medical Officer (BAMS) to conduct remote video teleconsultations. Operating comfortably from home, you will evaluate patients, conduct video assessments ( Nidana , Prakriti Parikshan ), and issue digitally signed E-Prescriptions for fresh leaves, botanical formulations, and custom remedies from our 150+ species collection. Your prescriptions will be fulfilled directly by our physical sales and store teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Remote Video Consultations: Conduct video consultations via our tele-health setup following the AYUSH Telemedicine Practice Guidelines .
- E-Prescription Generation: Issue official, digitally signed E-Prescriptions specifying exact botanical names, dosage, and usage instructions for fresh leaves ( Swarasa , Kalka , Dravya ) and herbal supplements.
- Collaborative Fulfillment: Coordinate directly with our physical store/fulfillment counter staff in West Bengal to ensure accurate processing of prescribed plant parts and remedies.
- Patient Guidance & Care: Educate patients on preventive health ( Ahara & Vihara ), safe herbal supplementation, and integrating botanical support alongside conventional medical treatments.
- Research Collaboration: Work virtually with our team of botanists and phytomedicine researchers to help catalog therapeutic observations from our medicinal plant bio-bank.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery ( BAMS ) from an NCISM-recognized university.
- Mandatory Registration: Active registration with the Paschim Banga Ayurved Parishad (PBAP) and enrollment in the NCISM Central Register.
- Digital Readiness: Laptop/desktop with a stable, high-speed internet connection, good web-camera setup, and comfort using digital EHR/E-Prescription tools.
- Skills: Solid clinical diagnostic abilities, deep familiarity with Dravyaguna Vigyan (pharmacognosy/herbal pharmacology), clear empathetic communication, and a commitment to safe tele-practice protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- MD / MS in Ayurveda (specifically Dravyaguna Vigyan or Kayachikitsa ).
- Certification or completion of the foundation course on AYUSH Telemedicine Practice Guidelines .
- Active ABDM Healthcare Professional ID (HPR) .
