Job Title: Windows & Linux Engineer

Location: Bangalore / Kochi

We are looking for an experienced Windows & Linux Engineer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in managing, administering, and supporting enterprise Windows and Linux environments. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in server administration, troubleshooting, system performance, patching, and infrastructure support.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) environments.

Perform server installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.

Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows services.

Configure and maintain Linux services, user management, file systems, and permissions.

Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.

Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.

Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Shell scripting.

Troubleshoot OS, network, storage,



and application-related issues.

Implement security best practices, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.

Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, network, and application teams for production support.

Prepare technical documentation and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills

Strong administration experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).

Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).

Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.

VMware or Hyper-V administration.

PowerShell and Bash/Shell scripting.

Server patching, monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Backup and recovery tools.

Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, Load Balancing).

Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, or SCOM.
