A Welder is responsible for joining, repairing, and fabricating metal parts using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding. They read and interpret blueprints, measure and cut materials, prepare surfaces for welding, and ensure solid, high-quality welds that meet safety and quality standards. Welders inspect finished work for defects, maintain welding equipment, and follow workplace safety procedures at all times.
They may work on manufacturing equipment and structural steel components.
