Mission Website - The Mission has its own website which provides an overview of the mission and the member organisations worldwide. This is managed by the Mission Website Team.

Parent

Trusts and Foundations - In addition to this, there are parent trusts and foundations in India that primarily focus on specific verticals (Health, Education, Nutrition). Many of these organisations have their own websites, which are managed by dedicated website teams, while others are managed by the Mission Website Team.

Institutional

Websites - The Mission also manages multiple institutions such as Hospitals, Schools, Colleges and Universities.

The Mission Website

Team provides advice, guidance and instructions on the content, branding, function and usability of these sites.

Country

Websites - For countries in which our organisation has a presence, some of them have their own websites. Many of these countries do not have a website. However, for those that do, their websites are managed by local teams.

Team provides advice, guidance and instructions on the content, branding, function and usability of these sites. The Mission is currently undergoing a rebranding phase wherein we are consolidating and enhancing the existing websites to ensure that it is transparent to website visitors that all these websites fall under one Mission.

Position

Description The Website Manager will be responsible for the management, maintenance and enhancement of the key websites under the One World One Family Mission. The role will ensure that all websites remain accurate, up-to-date, secure, user-friendly, and aligned with the mission's vision, values, and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Website

Management & Operations

Manage and oversee all websites under the One World One Family Mission.

Ensure websites are regularly updated with relevant and accurate content.

Monitor website functionality, performance, and availability.





Maintain consistency in design, branding, content, and user experience across all mission websites.

Implement website enhancement initiatives and support new website launches when required.

For mission websites that are managed by other individuals and parties, the Website Manager is responsible for providing support, guidance and instructions to ensure that these websites maintain a standard of care, quality and professionalism and are in line with the Mission’s branding guidelines.

Initiate and manage a dashboard or ticketing system for managing website updates.

Content

Management

Coordinate with departments, project teams, and content owners to collect and publish website content.

Establish a systematic review process to ensure information remains current and relevant.

Update news, events, announcements, programs, reports, and other digital content regularly.

Ensure content follows organisational guidelines and quality standards.

In areas where there are no existing processes or guidelines, the Website Manager is responsible for defining and developing new processes/guidelines.

Stakeholder

Coordination

Act as the central point of contact for all website-related requirements.

Collaborate with mission leaders, departments, partners, and external vendors for website updates and improvements.

Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into actionable website enhancements.

Facilitate periodic review meetings to address website needs and priorities.

4.

Website

Governance & Quality Assurance

Conduct regular audits of website content, links, forms, and functionality.

Ensure compliance with organisational standards, accessibility requirements, and digital best practices.

Maintain documentation related to website structures, processes, and update logs.

Ensure information accuracy and consistency across all websites.

5.

Technical

Coordination

Liaise with developers, hosting providers, and IT teams for website maintenance and troubleshooting.

Monitor website security, backups, software updates, and performance optimization.

Coordinate implementation of new features,



integrations, and technical improvements.

Ensure timely resolution of technical issues affecting website operations.

- Analytics & Reporting

Monitor website traffic, engagement, and performance metrics.

Generate periodic reports on website usage and effectiveness.

Provide recommendations to improve user experience, engagement, and website performance.

Track the impact of digital initiatives and content updates. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

8-10 years of experience in website management, digital communications, or related roles, including at least 2 years in a role leading or supervising a team.

Extensive experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar platforms.

Familiarity with website analytics and digital marketing tools.

Required

Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Strong organisational and project management skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Strong working knowledge of website technologies, hosting, and security practices, sufficient to liaise confidently with developers and IT teams and troubleshoot issues independently where possible. Solid understanding of SEO, accessibility standards, and digital best practices.

Able to work on tight deadlines to ensure websites are updated on a timely basis, and establish/adhere to agreed SLA timelines.

Demonstrated experience managing and developing a small team, including delegating responsibilities, setting priorities, and building team capability over time.

Able to confidently communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Able to collaborate with other teams, including the content team, institutional leadership, design team, branding team and social media team.

Able to manage multiple websites and priorities simultaneously.

Location/Work Environment: This is a full-time on-site job role.
