Role Description The Warehouse Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Delhi, responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations supporting The Food Affairs’ catering and event requirements. The role includes managing daily procurement of vegetarian ingredients, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining accurate stock levels to ensure timely availability for events.

Manager supervises store staff, organizes merchandise, maintains cleanliness and safety standards, and ensures quality and freshness of all products. This role also involves monitoring sales and wastage, negotiating with vendors, and optimizing inventory to align with menu and event schedules.

Manager collaborates closely with the culinary and operations teams to meet event timelines, uphold brand standards, and deliver reliable service to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service
Schedule and oversee warehouse team,
and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods
Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary
Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention
Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages
Experience in supermarket or warehouse management, including knowledge of product categories, merchandising, and store operation
Sales and basic commercial acumen to manage pricing, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization aligned with business goals.
Inventory control skills, including stock monitoring, ordering, loss prevention, and use of inventory management tools or software.
Proven experience in food retail, catering supply, or hospitality operations; prior experience with premium or luxury brands is an advantage.
Ability to lead and train team members, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain a high-performance work environment.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Basic proficiency in MS Excel or inventory systems for tracking stock, orders, and reports.
Minimum of graduate ; a degree or certificate in retail management, hospitality, or business is preferred.
