The Warehouse Executive is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, movement, reconciliation, and dispatch of inventory while ensuring 100% inventory accuracy and compliance with company procedures. The role requires hands-on experience in inventory management, stock reconciliation, incoming and outgoing material handling, and stock transfers.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/Tally/Excel.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock verification.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Incoming Material
- Receive materials against Purchase Orders/Delivery Challans.
- Verify quantity, condition, and documentation before acceptance.
- Coordinate with QA for inspection of incoming materials.
- Ensure timely GRN preparation and system entry.
Outgoing Material
- Pick, pack, and dispatch materials as per Sales Orders/Production requirements.
- Verify material quantity and documentation before dispatch.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles are followed where applicable.
- Maintain dispatch records and supporting documents.
Stock Reconciliation
- Perform regular stock reconciliation between physical stock and ERP/Tally.
- Prepare reconciliation reports and highlight variances.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
Stock Transfer
- Execute inter-warehouse and warehouse-to-plant stock transfers.
- Prepare transfer documentation.
- Update inventory records immediately after transfer.
- Track stock in transit until receipt confirmation.
Warehouse Operations
- Maintain proper storage locations and rack discipline.
- Ensure correct material identification and labeling.
- Maintain housekeeping as per 5S standards.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Inventory Management.
- Experience in Incoming & Outgoing Material Handling.
- Knowledge of Stock Reconciliation.
- Experience in Stock Transfer processes.
- Basic knowledge of ERP/Tally/SAP or similar systems.
- Good MS Excel skills.
- Understanding of FIFO/FEFO.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (B.Com/B.Sc./BA) or Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics.
- 2-5 years of experience in Warehouse & Inventory Management.
