ServiceNow CMDB Consultant (6 to 12 Years)

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Consultant with 6+ years of IT experience and solid expertise in ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Discovery, and IT Service Management (ITSM). The candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing CMDB architecture to ensure data accuracy and support IT operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain ServiceNow CMDB solutions.
- Ensure CMDB data quality, integrity, and governance across the organization.
- Configure and manage Configuration Items (CIs), relationships, and service mapping.
- Implement and support ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
- Define CMDB data models,



identification and reconciliation rules.
- Integrate CMDB with Incident, Change, Problem, Asset, and Event Management modules.
- Perform CMDB health checks, audits, and remediation activities.
- Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, application, and operations teams.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics related to CMDB performance.
- Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and production issues.

Required Skills
- Strong experience with ServiceNow CMDB implementation and administration.
- Hands-on experience with:

- CMDB Data Model

- Discovery

- Service Mapping
- Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE)

- Configuration Item (CI) Management

- MID Server
