Role & responsibilities The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth checkout process. The ideal candidate should be honest, accurate, and able to work in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner.
- Scan products and process customer purchases accurately.
- Accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.
- Issue receipts and ensure correct billing.
- Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges as per company policy.
- Answer customer questions and assist them when needed.
- Keep the checkout counter clean and organized.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
- Follow company policies and maintain accuracy in all transactions.
