The VP Corporate Affairs will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for building and managing relationships with key government ministries, regulatory bodies, and industry associations. This is a highly strategic position requiring a well-networked individual who can navigate India's complex policy and regulatory environment particularly as it pertains to the steel, coal, commerce, and environment sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Government Relations & Ministry Engagement

- Lead all central government relations and regulatory engagement for Visa Industries
- Build, maintain, and leverage high-level relationships with key ministries, most critically:

Ministry of Steel Ministry of Commerce & Industry

– Ministry of Coal

– Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC)

- Represent the company in interactions with senior government officials, bureaucrats, and policymakers

Policy Monitoring & Strategy
- Monitor, anticipate,



and respond to policy and regulatory developments impacting the company's business interests
- Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate affairs strategy aligned with business objectives
- Advise senior management on policy risks, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities

Industry & Association Liaison
- Liaise with industry associations such as FICCI, CII, and ASSOCHAM to represent and advance the company's policy positions
- Manage the company's participation in relevant industry forums, committees, and working groups

Regulatory & Compliance Management
- Manage and coordinate regulatory approvals, clearances, and compliance matters with central government bodies
- Maintain a robust connect with Odisha-based government and administrative networks, given the company's operational footprint in the state
