Role Description The Visiting Faculty – Business Communications will deliver engaging, practice-oriented courses to postgraduate management learners in an on-site role based in Mumbai. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and teaching business communication modules, designing interactive classroom activities, evaluating learner performance, and providing constructive feedback. The faculty member will collaborate with academic leadership to align course delivery with industry needs, incorporate case studies and contemporary examples, and participate in curriculum reviews and academic meetings as required.
The role also involves mentoring learners on written and oral communication skills, corporate presentation standards, and professional etiquette.
Qualifications Ability to design and update Business Communications curriculum, including lesson plans and assessment frameworks (Curriculum Development).
Proven experience teaching at the university or postgraduate level, preferably in business or management programs (University Teaching, Training).
Strong background in applied research or industry projects related to communication, management, or related fields (Research).
Understanding of business environments and economic contexts that shape corporate communication practices (Economics).
Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
Relevant postgraduate degree (MBA, MA in Communications, Business, Management, or related field); a doctoral degree is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to integrate real-world cases, industry examples, and contemporary tools (e.g., digital communication platforms) into teaching.
Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered pedagogy and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse cohorts and faculty teams.
