Role Description The Video Intern will support the visual storytelling and brand presence of Katha Ghar through video content creation. This full time, on-site role based in Mumbai involves assisting with pre-production planning, filming short-form and long-form content, and helping with basic video editing and post-production tasks. The intern will work closely with the creative team to adapt audio stories for video formats, create social media clips, behind-the-scenes content, and promotional materials.

Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing footage, maintaining video assets, supporting shoot logistics,



and contributing ideas for engaging visual content aligned with Katha Ghar’s storytelling mission.

Qualifications Candidates should possess foundational video production skills, including basic camera handling, framing, and lighting for small shoots.

Candidates should possess video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software, with an eye for pacing and storytelling.

Candidates should possess skills in content creation for digital platforms, including short-form video for social media and familiarity with current visual trends.

Candidates should possess strong creative thinking and storytelling abilities, with interest in Indian stories, culture, and audio-visual narratives.

Candidates should possess good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Relevant coursework or training in film, media, communication, or design is beneficial; prior internship or project experience in video/content creation is a plus.

Comfort working in office in Mumbai, collaborating with a small creative team, and being proactive in a fast-paced, growing startup environment.
