About The Role The Senior Video Engineer - Multimedia at RWS Group is a critical role responsible for the preparation, adaptation, testing, and delivery of high-quality localized multimedia content across various languages and markets. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of video and multimedia tools, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, linguists, developers, and other internal teams to ensure seamless workflows and timely delivery of multimedia assets that meet both client specifications and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multimedia production, localization processes, and a passion for delivering top-tier digital content in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in video localization, multimedia, design, or a related field.



A minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in video engineering, multimedia production, or content adaptation roles is required. Prior experience in formatting, testing, and quality assurance of multilingual digital or multimedia content is highly advantageous.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with industry-standard tools and platforms, along with strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail. Additionally, a solid understanding of multilingual content workflows and familiarity with localization platforms will be beneficial.

Responsibilities Prepare, format, and adapt multimedia and digital content for localization across multiple languages and regions, ensuring consistency and quality.

Handle and process various types of content including audio, video, screen recordings, voice-to-text (VTTS), graphics, and interactive learning modules for localization and delivery.

Perform functional, visual, and linguistic quality assurance checks on localized content to ensure accuracy, synchronization, and adherence to client specifications.

Identify potential risks, missing information, or inconsistencies within multimedia assets and communicate these proactively to relevant stakeholders for resolution.

Collaborate effectively with project managers, linguists, developers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth workflows and meet project deadlines.





Suggest and implement process improvements, workflow optimizations, and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality.

Maintain high standards of quality across all deliverables, ensuring compliance with client and internal requirements.

Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
