Role Description This is a full-time, in office Video Editor role based in Tiruchirappalli.

The Video

Editor will work closely with project leads and content creators to edit raw footage into engaging, polished videos that meet client objectives and brand guidelines. Daily responsibilities include organizing and trimming clips, synchronizing audio, adding transitions and effects, performing basic color correction or grading, and preparing final files for various platforms. The role also involves incorporating motion graphics and simple graphic elements when required, maintaining consistent visual quality across projects, and collaborating with the team to review feedback and refine outputs.





The Video

Editor is expected to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and contribute creative ideas to improve storytelling and audience engagement.

Qualifications

Strong skills in video production and video editing, including handling raw footage and assembling coherent narratives.

Proficiency in video color grading and basic color correction to ensure visual consistency and quality.

Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and graphics to enhance visual appeal and communication.

Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and relevant plugins.

Good understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, export settings, and requirements for social media and web platforms.

Attention to detail, strong sense of timing and pacing, and ability to follow brand or style guidelines.

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to respond constructively to feedback.

Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, or a related field is beneficial; portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work is required.
