Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Kolkata.

The Video

Editor will handle end-to-end post-production, including assembling raw footage, editing clips, adding transitions, and integrating audio to create compelling video content for social media and digital campaigns. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with the creative and marketing teams on concepts, applying color grading to maintain visual consistency, and preparing versions optimized for different platforms and formats. The role also involves creating basic motion graphics, incorporating branded elements,



and ensuring all assets follow brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

The Video

Editor will manage project timelines, organize media files, and stay current with editing trends and platform best practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for social media and digital-first content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to maintain consistent visual style and enhance overall look and feel.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, overlays, and simple animated elements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic knowledge of After Effects or comparable tools.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, work within brand guidelines, and collaborate effectively with designers, marketers, and content creators.
- Robust attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience creating content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Reels/Shorts is highly beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, visual communication, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience with a strong portfolio.
