About the Role
Batangarh News is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce engaging news, social media, and digital content. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, a good understanding of storytelling, and the ability to deliver high-quality videos within tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Edit news videos, reels, shorts, and long-form content for digital platforms.
Add transitions, motion graphics, captions, background music, and visual effects where required.
Create engaging videos optimized for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
Ensure videos meet brand guidelines and maintain consistent quality.
Collaborate with reporters, content creators, and the social media team.
Organize and manage video files, footage, and project assets.
Stay updated with the latest editing trends and social media content formats.
Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining high production standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred but not mandatory).
4-5 years of experience in video editing (Freshers with an excellent portfolio may also apply).
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Basic knowledge of Photoshop and motion graphics is an advantage.
Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, color correction, and audio editing.
Experience editing vertical videos, reels, and shorts.
Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under deadlines.
Basic understanding of current affairs and digital media is a plus.
