Role Description The VFX Faculty role is a full-time, on-site position based at MAAC Ghaziabad. The faculty member will deliver classroom and lab sessions on visual effects concepts, tools, and techniques, including compositing, motion tracking, CGI, and related workflows.

Responsibilities include planning lessons, creating teaching materials, demonstrating software, guiding students through assignments and projects, and conducting assessments. The role also involves mentoring learners on portfolios and showreels, staying updated with industry trends and technologies,



and collaborating with other faculty to maintain academic quality and a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid practical skills in VFX production, including compositing, motion tracking, CGI, and related post-production workflows.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in leading VFX and animation software (e.g., After Effects, Nuke, Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or similar industry tools).
- Candidates should possess skills in teaching, curriculum delivery, classroom management, and mentoring students in project-based learning.
- Candidates should possess clear communication, presentation, and collaboration skills to work effectively with learners and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of animation and multimedia fundamentals, with the ability to connect VFX to broader media production pipelines.
- Relevant experience in the VFX, animation, or post-production industry, with a strong portfolio or showreel, is highly beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Animation, VFX, Multimedia, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred, along with a commitment to continuous skill development.
