2. Cycle time study & cost reduction ideas
3. Machine selection, Programming knowledge

4. Implementation of automation

5. Supplier selection for machining
6. Development activities, Cycle time calculation, Costing of m/c parts
7. Knowledge of supplier development.

8. Knowledge of supplier quality
9. Costing of machining parts, NPD parts RFQ preparation

10. Dispatch of Export Containers
11. IATF / IMS knowledge, APQP / TRA / TRSO, 5s, Kaizen, 7QC Tools etc.

Preferred candidate profile

- Vendor Sourcing & Onboarding: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for specific materials/components (e.g., mechanical, electronics).
- Performance Management: Monitor KPIs (Quality, Cost, Delivery), implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Technical Collaboration: Work with design/production to define specs,



resolve technical issues, and improve supplier processes.
- Audits & Assessment: Conduct on-site assessments and audits of vendor facilities to ensure compliance and capability.
- Cost & Negotiation: Analyze quotes, negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- NPD Support: Coordinate with design/production for new product introductions (NPD).
- Technical Aptitude: Understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes (e.g., sheet metal, machining, electronics).
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, costs, and performance metrics.
