Role Description The Unit Manager – Agency Channel is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun, responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of insurance advisors in the agency channel. In this role, the Unit Manager will drive business growth by guiding advisors to meet sales targets, supporting them in developing customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The position involves monitoring performance metrics, conducting regular field visits and meetings,



and providing ongoing coaching to improve productivity and service quality.

The Unit

Manager will collaborate with branch and regional teams to implement sales campaigns, support marketing initiatives, and enhance customer experience across the assigned territory.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong sales, business development, and target-achievement skills in financial services or related sectors.
- Candidates should possess team management, people leadership, and coaching skills to guide and develop insurance advisors.
- Candidates should possess customer relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills to build trust and close business effectively.
- Candidates should possess planning, analytical, and reporting skills to track performance and improve unit productivity.
- Relevant experience in life insurance, banking, or financial services distribution, preferably in an agency or field sales model.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a postgraduate qualification in business or finance is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Dehradun, conduct regular field visits, and adapt to a dynamic, target-driven setting.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and digital tools for sales tracking, reporting, and communication.
