Role Description The Training Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram.

The Training

Manager will design, develop, and deliver training programs that support operational excellence and service standards across Compass Group’s business units. This role involves conducting needs assessments, creating training materials and curricula, and facilitating classroom and on-the-job sessions for diverse teams.

Manager will track training participation and outcomes, evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend improvements based on feedback and performance data.



The role also includes partnering with business leaders and HR to align learning initiatives with organizational goals, ensuring consistent onboarding, compliance training, and ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

- Experience in training design and delivery, including curriculum development, facilitation, and evaluation of learning outcomes.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage participants at all levels and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Organizational and project management abilities, including planning training schedules, handling multiple programs, and meeting deadlines.
- Comfort with digital tools and learning technologies, such as LMS platforms, virtual training tools, and basic data analysis for reporting.
- Understanding of the food services or hospitality sector, with knowledge of operational standards, customer service, and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field; relevant training or L&D; certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a training, learning and development, or operations leadership role, preferably in large or multi-site organizations.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, collaborate across teams, and adapt training approaches to diverse learner needs.
