Role The Trainer will be a field-based, single-point owner for the student lifecycle, bridging ITI education and industry needs by delivering soft skills training and managing student data through the Propel system, from mobilization through apprenticeship completion.

Responsibilities

- Own each student's digital journey from pre-registration to programme endline, ensuring accurate real-time data entry in the Propel system

- Lead grassroots awareness sessions at ITIs and in local communities, and facilitate student registration on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal

- Deliver training on professional communication, workplace readiness, digital literacy, and financial literacy, tailored to Gujarat's industrial landscape

- Conduct mock interviews and resume-building workshops, and coordinate with employers on interview scheduling and placement

- Mentor students, identify those at high risk of dropping out,



and implement retention strategies

- Maintain relationships with ITI principals, government stakeholders, and industry partners, and support apprenticeship melas and recruitment drives

Requirements

- Graduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or Human Resources

- 1-3 years of experience in vocational training, skilling, or apprenticeship-linked programs

- Experience within the Gujarat skilling ecosystem and familiarity with NAPS/NATS frameworks preferred

- Strong facilitation skills for engaging large groups of students

- Proficiency in MIS management and mobile-based tracking tools

- Fluency in Gujarati and Hindi

- Empathy, ownership mindset, and problem-solving ability in field settings

- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned district
