Role Description The Textile Designer will work full time on-site at our Ahmedabad location, collaborating with the design and production teams to create innovative textile concepts for women’s apparel. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing embroidery and print designs, creating graphics for fabrics, selecting and experimenting with textiles, and preparing detailed design specifications for sampling and production. The role involves researching trends, colors, and materials, translating inspiration into commercially viable designs that align with the brand’s fast-fashion aesthetic and sustainability goals.





The Textile

Designer will also review samples, coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders, and refine designs based on feedback to ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Embroidery and Textile Prints for apparel-focused design.

Candidates should possess skills in Graphics and Graphic Design to create visually compelling fabric and placement artwork.

Candidates should possess knowledge of Textiles, including fabric types, construction, and surface techniques.

Proficiency with design software (such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop) and digital illustration tools is beneficial.

A diploma or degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.

Experience in women’s wear or rapid-fashion brands, along with an understanding of market trends and color stories, is advantageous.

Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple design projects, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams are important.
