: Tester & BRD Creator Intern Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team as a Tester and BRD (Business Requirements Document) Creator. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing and requirements gathering. You will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.
Responsibilities Testing
Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications based on provided test cases and requirements.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
Execute regression testing to ensure previously fixed bugs do not reappear.
Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation.
Participate in test planning and review sessions.
Perform usability testing and provide feedback on user experience.
BRD Creation Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
Create clear and concise BRDs, including functional and non-functional requirements.
Collaborate with product managers and developers to clarify requirements.
Assist in creating user stories and use cases.
Participate in requirements review meetings.
General Attend team meetings and provide regular progress updates.
Learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
Maintain clear and effective communication with team members.
Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of BRD creation and requirement gathering is a plus.
Knowledge of bug tracking software like Jira, or similar software is a plus.
