We are seeking a seasoned Test Engineer to join our core trading technology team in Hyderabad, focusing on the rigorous validation of the Trading T7 platform.
In this role, you will be at the heart of our capital markets infrastructure, ensuring the stability, performance, and functional integrity of high-frequency trading systems.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quantitative analysts, to bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution.
Your work directly impacts the reliability of our trading engines, ensuring seamless market operations and providing our clients with a robust, low-latency environment that is critical to their success in competitive financial markets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and execute comprehensive functional test suites for the Trading T7 system to ensure all trading workflows meet stringent regulatory and performance standards.
- Automate complex test scenarios using Python to accelerate release cycles and improve the overall quality of our trading infrastructure.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on system defects within Linux environments to minimize downtime and enhance platform stability for end-users.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to translate intricate trading logic into actionable test cases, ensuring full coverage of order management and execution lifecycles.
- Manage end-to-end testing lifecycles, from requirement analysis to production deployment, to ensure high-availability trading services for our global client base.
Required Skillset :
- Robust expertise in functionality of cash and derivatives trading systems is essential
- Deep knowledge of test methodology, management, planning and execution. A professional tester certification, e.g., ISTQB is a benefit
- Deep experience in iterative and agile development methods with dedicated expertise for testing of software from a functional perspective
- Deep experience with creating, executing and analysing automated functional tests
- Solid user experience in Linux operating system, GitHub, Jira and continuous integration
- Expertise in scripting for test and test automation; scripting in python preferred
